Flat cake with orange

This is a simple recipe. The secret lies in perceiving the right point to get a smooth texture and a balanced flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 250 gr. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 egg
  • 100 gr. butter or olive oil
  • 1 yoghurt
  • 1 thin-skinned orange
  • 220 gr. de flour
  • 1 envelope yeast
  • A pinch of salt

Preparation:

Crush the orange (previously cut into cubes) together with the two egg yolks and the whole egg.

Then add the yoghurt, oil (or butter) and sugar.

When it’s all mixed, add the flour, salt and yeast.

Put in a pan with butter and add sugar on top; it will make a small scab.

Cook in the oven, 15 to 20 minutes at 180 degrees.

  1. Una pregunteta….el forn ha d’estar ja a temperatura de 180º quan hi fiquem la mescla o en fred?
